This is a site for me to talk about different things that are going on in my life on a particular day!

WOOHOOO!!! Prayers have been answered today!! President Bush will be our President for 4 more years. Thank the Lord!! I was really concerned about our country if Kerry had won. Kerry was very gracious though and I respect him for that.

I have been feeling yucky all day. I needed to get my house cleaned for Leesha's party on Friday but that didn't happen. So tomorrow I have to clean the house and clean the carpets plus go to FPU at church. Busy, Busy!!

I did get my laundry mostly caught up today! WOOHOOO!! That was a huge chore! I have done 5 loads of laundry today. I have about two more to do tomorrow!!

This afternoon Leesha and I went to my parent's to meet my grandparents for dinner! They are traveling through with my Aunt Gloria and Uncle Gerald on their way to Florida! We had a great visit. We ate at Cracker Barrel and then went back to the lobby of their hotel for some pictures. Grandpa is looking so frail. He looked frail last time I saw him but man, he looks so much more frail now. I realized tonight how very fortunate I am to have both sets of my grandparents still alive. Leesha has gotten to meet all of her great-grandparents at least once in her life. When I hugged my Grandpa today, it was like bringing back memories of my childhood. I think he has worn the same cologne for years. Right now, I can't place what it is but everytime I smell that scent, it brings him to my mind. Grandma is still the same. She is so tiny but goodness she is a fighter. She had to be to raise 12 kiddos. I realized while talking to my Grandma tonight that she is one incredible woman. Now I knew this before but it really hit me tonight. I was thinking about everything that she has lived through. The loss of one of her children in a car accident, births, deaths, sicknesses, cancer in her children, dementia in her husband, the back breaking work. She is incredible! I hope that when I am her age that I am that poised and loving. Her eyes still light up when she sees me and I know they do for each of her hundreds of grand kids. And now her Great-grandchildren get to see those eyes light up as soon as she catches sight of them!

Well, anyway. I guess today has been pretty eventful!
